Who we are
The Burnbrae Parent Council is made up of parents/carers and friends of Burnbrae Primary School. We are a group of volunteers who are enthusiastic about providing the children and families of Burnbrae with a positive, educational, and enriching primary school experience. Our priorities include advocacy, fundraising, and sustainability. We endeavour to act as a strong link between the families and the school, allowing parents/carers and pupils to have a voice. We work closely with school staff in planning events and in deciding how the funds raised can best be used to support the school.
Through our events, we aim to raise funds for the school, as well as promoting a sense of community and creating memorable experiences for the families of Burnbrae. Our Parent Council meetings provide an opportunity for all members of the Burnbrae community (not just members of the Parent Council) to hear updates about the school, discuss issues that are important to them, and to raise ideas. We are always delighted to welcome new members, as well as anyone who would like to come along to learn more about who we are and what we do.
